CONTRIBUTERS WANTED by Michelle Bienias Got some hot VRs burning a proverbial hole in your pocket? Looking for a wider audience (or just an audience) to showcase your skills? Got an interesting spin on a city, person or event with a VR theme? After a rather lengthy hiatus, VRMag is back online and we’re looking for your input and talent to share with the community. We’re short on staff but long on ideas, so if you’d like to help us out - and in the process find an appreciative audience for your work - send us a note. Of course, we expect to maintain our standards, but hopefully, with your help, we can raise the bar even higher. A few ideas:
VRs: city VRs, with short description of time, place, merit of photo; artistic shots; VRs incorporating an innovative use of the VR technology.
Cool or informative VR websites. Do you know a great website that you’d like to share with others in the community? Tell us about the site and we may select it for review in VRMag.
A technical fact or lesson or know-how you’d like to pass on. We hope to start a ‘Technical Know-how’ column, written by contributors, so be as detailed as possible.
We are also on the lookout for experienced VR photographers available for contract work with our ‘Photographers Network’. We get commercial assignments, mainly throughout Europe, and need qualified professionals to shoot VR panoramas for our clients. If you’re interested, please send us some work samples and a brief history.
