A TRIBUTE TO NEW YORK FULLSCREEN QTVR PLAYER A cooperative effort by Jook Leung, Jim Galvin and Daniel Maurer. by Michelle Bienias
Photographers Jook Leung, Jim Galvin and Daniel Maurer have put together an interesting QuickTime player application that pays homage to the great city of New York entitled “A Tribute to New York”.
Although the application, which uses advanced Livestange coding, can be opened directly from your browser (or the thumbnail below), it works better when opened from the QuickTime player (select “Open url in new browser” and then add this url: "http://213.198.27.217/360visits/mov/newyork/ny_tribute/NY.mov").
The player lists each of the photographers down its left side. Just choose a photographer and a list of thumbnails appears from which you choose the panorama you’d like to view.
Jook Leung has his award-winning “Tribute in Light” fullscreen panorama, along with seven others. Jim Galvin shows the Empire State Building, Macy’s Window and others, and Daniel Maurer shows the Flat Iron building, Greenwich Village, among others. They’ve also included a nice Stills Gallery with a selection from the collection.
Comments: jimrkelleher@yahoo.com Hi, I found the web site through www.panoramas.dk. I really appreciated the Tribute to NY Panoramas by your three photographers. Thank you! 2003-08-23 18:07:47
