SCOTT HIGHTON'S VIRTUAL REALITY PHOTOGRAPHY

While I impatiently wait for Scott Highton’s upcoming Virtual Reality photography book, the book's companion website has silently been published.

This website, as Scott told me over the phone, will prerelease some of the content of the book. Although Scott fears the material is too minimal to officially announce yet, I found more than enough material to be of interest to our readers. The ‘Ask the VR Experts’ section is great and features a panelist of VR experts such as John Greenleigh , Janie Fitzgerald , David Wagner, Tim Petros, Gabe Palacio , and Jook Leung, along with Scott. These experts share their experience and advice in the VR industry and viewers can submit questions to them.

Below is a list of articles I enjoyed and feel others will find beneficial as well:

- Rights and Value in Traditional and Electronic Media , by Scott Highton for the ASMP.
- Pricing VR Work , especially valuable for those starting a VR business and are thinking over their pricing calculations.
- Case Study: QTVR vs. iPIX Comparison This is a great cost comparative analysis of shooting digital, film, 1 and 500 VRs.
