PHOTOKINA: SEP 28-OCT 3 IN COLOGNE, GERMANY by Michelle Bienias Photokina - the international bi-annual Imaging tradeshow that attracts 160,000 attendees and more than 1,600 exhibitors from 45 countries hawking digital cameras, mobile imaging, storage and print med – will be held September 28-October 3 in Cologne, Germany. Print Exhibit Photokina is the world’s biggest photography expo and this year the IQTVRA and IAPP will host a print exhibit of about 40 members’ panoramas from around the world. The exhibit has been displayed at the San Francisco and Boston Macworld Expos and the Messdeg Museum in Amsterdam and already seen by more than 20,000 people. Stop by Booth F-055 in Hall 14.1. It’s expected that many VR photographers and members of the IQTVRA and IAPP will be attending the tradeshow. Workshop There will also be an offsite workshop/bootcamp on Saturday, October 2nd, held in the studio of the film production company Hampl & Hampl on Lichtstrasse 38, 1st floor, located in Koln Ehrenfeld. The planned program includes: - Aldo Hoeben will demo his exciting Spi-V pano engine based on Shockwave. - Dr. Clauss will show two motorized multirow heads with examples. - Panoscan will show its new MK III camera. - Hans Nyberg will talk about the story behind panoramas.dk - Marco Trezzini will discuss VRMag.
