VIRTUAL TOUR OF MILAN'S IDROPARK FILA

Idropark Fila, formerly called Idroscalo Park, is a huge amusement and water park near Linate Airport where popular events such as rowing regattas, canoeing and boating take place throughout the year. Idropark Fila is an artificial water basin 2.5 km long and about 300 meters wide, fed by a water table. It was built in 1928 as a landing for seaplanes but it soon became ‘Milan’s sea’ and is a popular place to try and escape Milan’s heat. It’s currently enjoying an intense environmental and sports rebirth due to the management of Milan’s provincial administration.

Virtual Tour of Idro Park, Milan
The Idro Park virtual tour is comprised of a map and thirteen panoramas of the park and surroundings, including the jogging trail, free climbing, mountain biking and inline skating areas. The virtual tour is available in three formats – Fullscreen QTVR (recommended for those with a high-speed connection), QTVR medium (recommended for those with a dial-up connection) and Java (recommended for those with QuickTime), and is available in Italian.
