SWAROVSKI CHRISTMAS TREE IN MILAN

On November 28, Swarovski unveiled the beautiful 2004 Swarovski Christmas tree at the Galleria Vittoria Emanuele II in Milan. Measuring 12 meters (approx. 36 feet), the elaborately decorated tree is the sparkling centerpiece of a photo exhibition on the restoration progress of the famous La Scala theatre. The pine tree, decked out with 8,000 handcrafted crystal ornaments and 12,000 lights, will be up until January 6, 2005, so if you’re in the area you still have time to see it.

Apart from stunning Swarovski ornaments, a special limited edition paperweight carrying the logo of the theatre will be available for purchase. For each paperweight sold, Swarovski will donate EUR 15 to the “Arti e Mestieri” foundation of the Alla Scala theatre.
