When: “The pictures were taken during a trip to South East Asia in Nov 2004, where I visited Bangkok/Thailand, Manila Philippines, Melaka and Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and Dubai United Emirates (Stop Over). Main purpose of the trip was picture taking of an industrial plant in Malaysia for a 50 node QTVR tour. Beside that work, I used my time to shoot QTVRs in all cities visited.” How: “The photos for these QTVRs were taken with my Nikon D70 and Sigma 8mm lens. In order to travel as light as possible I used only a monopod and a lightweight self made bracket for the Nikon D70. I would have preferred to take my Nikkor 8mm with me, but for weight and size considerations I left that lens at home. All QTVRs are done with only four pictures, shot in RAW mode. Stitching and blending in PTMac/ Enblend on a Macintosh Powerbook 17". Final corrections in Photoshop and conversion with Cubic Converter and uploaded on my homepage on Apple's Dot.Mac server.” |
