Where: Brussels, Belgium, in the neighborhood of Ixelees

What: Urban Art – artists take over a house and transform it. The Collectif d'Art Urbain a Brussels based non-profit organization set up by a group of architects and art schoolteachers, rented a house in a residential area and then stripped the walls and floors, installed some halogens and went to work with their art. The collective’s aim is to bring recognition to all forms of street art. The exhibition shown in this panorama was a joint execution by Paris-based street artists ATLAS, PablOW, SUNSET and TANC. They now have two subsidized planned exhibitions per month until August and their calendar is rapidly filling with guest tagger-artists from all over.

Why: “For fun”, Therer writes. “I met l'Atlas around a film project, he was impressed with my panoramas. These guys need exposure and their transitory art needs archiving and exposure. I could give them that for this once so I did.”
