How / Technical details: Canon 10D + Sigma8mm Fish4cube + CubicConverter + Photoshop

If you ever thought you were looking at Jonathan Livingston and his..team of seagulls performing an aerobatic performance, full of cuban and lazy eights, loopings, tailslides, lomcevaks, inverted spins, Immelmanns and vertical ups, open your eyes and watch again. Carefully. They are good at what they're doing. Badly good. You can lose yourself in their execution, rendered even more splendid by the colours of the sky, coalesced with the colours of water in a deep blue, and the pink clouds in the background...But, they have yet to reach an "higher plane of existence". They are, in fact, the "breakfast flock", moved by a good package of "Shrimp flavored chips", the last ingredient used by Yoshiyuki in order to shot.

Chips in one hand and camera in the other, he was able to freeze the flock's flight, which is still waiting for Jonathan's enlightenment!

Yoshiyuki Kaneko's works can be seen at his web site , where he even hosts a manual about virtual shots and techniques. But to master his techs, the instructions aren't enough. You must be skilled in Japanese too.
