I was originally trained in traditional journalism photography starting back in 1993. I was first introduced to panography in 2000 and immediately got started. After much experimentation and equipment procurement, I officially launched Photosurveyor.com in 2003. I provide basic real estate panography and traditional imagery as well as high-end resort and hotel imagery. Other freelance activities include local photography services for the city I live in, Golden, Colorado. Including a recent set of VR images of our recreation center, as well as a fire station before demolition. The new fire station is being constructed and I will be shooting the "after" set of images when ready. I have also begun to dabble in gigapixel imagery. This image was produced for a local facility for printing on a 30'x5' wall.
My most public panography (besides www.photosurveyor.com) has to be my participation in the World Wide Panorama events since 2004. I have been a member of IVRPA since 2007. The reason for my work - sharing the disappearing natural world with those who cannot physically participate in its wonders. Links: Photosurveyor.com Email: shawn at photosurveyor.com |
