New technologies, a lot of imagination and the right sensibility, are the ingredients which are integral to Jensen's activity. Jensen is a professional wedding videographer who fully incorporates panography into his portfolio and services.

This passion started when he saw Hans Nyberg's 360° panoramic images of the Royal Danish Wedding. He then decided that this kind of image should be offered to all of his clients. He surfed a wave, considered that he immediately realized that none had offered what he had in mind to any customer before.

The Wedding Panorama industry isn't competitive yet, but other prominent wedding videographers - such as Mike Nelson of www.rememberwhenvideos.com and Jenny Lehman of www.videojournalist.com - are now looking into offering similar products. Typically, it is higher-end brides choose the panoramic option.

Armed with a Nikon D50, a Sigma 8mm fisheye lens and a NN3 Panoramic head, Jensen offers panoramic images as add ons to his normal video work. He considers panoramic images to be addictive, he cannot otherwise understand why he spends 5 minutes to take the shots and anywhere from 3 to 12 hours in order to stitch them, using a variety of softwares. Moreover, he had never thought he could put the camera down, in order to do something as enticing but - actually - different.

One major advantage of panoramas over video is time of delivery. With months to wait until the DVD of the ceremony is ready, the couples have - in a few days - instant gratification, viewing the panoramas on the net, on a HTML page (created with Pleinpot), whose address can be shared with friends and guests. 700 US$ then, to have a set of three panoramic images (Jensen is experiencing with Polar panoramas too, now), to be seen as soon as the honeymoon is over, to remember why - in case it's forgotten already! - one decided to embark upon a marriage (well, in case the panoramic images weren't enough, Jensen is a volcano of ideas. Another unique service he offers - in fact - is aerial introductions of bridal wedding and reception locations)

Jensen's has shot panoramas at over 20 weddings, including locations in San Francisco, Oakland, Sacramento, and the Sierra Nevada Foothills. Remember his name, then. Sooner or later it could be useful...Still pictures albums are old fashioned!
