311 – 314 A.D., restored in the fifth and seventh centuries. The present basilica is the work of Francesco Borromini (1646). Site: Rome, Piazza San Giovanni di Laterano. Note: In the five-arched portico, there are as many doors, the last on the right being the Holy Door, which is accessible only during Jubilee years. In July 1993 it was damaged by terrorists. Dulcis Christe Si tratta di un mottetto a due voci (soprano e contralto) di Michelangelo Grancini (1605-1669), compositore milanese operante nella prima metā del XVII secolo, e che svolse la sua attivitā nell'ambito musicale principalmente come maestro di cappella nel Duomo di Milano. Il testo č costituito da un'antifona tratta dalla liturgia ambrosiana e si rivolge a Cristo in termini di calda affezione e di partecipazione religiosa.
