Cullen's Pet Cemetery
Tigger, Max, Jake , Buddy, Kitty and Shadow found a resting place.
by Danica Gianola

For anyone who has had a pet, it's quite easy to understand why a bubble like the one taken by Will Pearson is so touching.

For pets' lovers then, there is a good news: Tigger, Max, Jake , Buddy, Kitty and Shadow can all have a resting place in the Scottish coasts, where their memory will be honored.

Photographer: Will Pearson of EyeRevolution.co.uk.

What: Cullen's Pet Cemetery.

Where: Cullen, Scotland.

When: Summer 2007.

Why: Will Pearson stumbled upon the Pet Cemetery while walking on the Scottish Coast. It was an unexpected find on a beach walk. As he says "It's quite rare that the interest in a panorama is almost all at your feet, but in this panorama you have to look down and around to read the messages and tributes and see the ornaments. Some had clearly been made by children and there are some quite poignant messages. It's nice to see the 'Scottishness' coming across in the inscriptions too Oo'r wee pal and Wee Benji".

Technical Details: Will Pearson uses a mix of Nikon and Canon gear and a variety of lenses depending on the task in hand. Over the years, his camera equipment has changed substantially, but the one constant is that Matt at 360 Precision has supported him throughout and provided him with most of his panoramic heads.

Will Pearson participated this year to the Shangai Arts Festival 2008, exhibiting with some of the UKs top photographers, after having been invited for his inspiring jobs. His artistic philosophy can be summarized in the saying "the transfiguration of the commonplace". Ordinarily life becomes art passing through his eyes and his cameras.
