You are running WorldPanoramaStock.com, can you tell us more about it?
I have a long list of ideas regarding panoramic images, but most of them are still in the ideation stage only. It is a matter of time and resources, mainly financial, of course to transform them into reality.
Panoramic images attracting more and more public attention, achieving a degree of popularity that hasn't been experienced for a long time. Panoramic photographs definitely provide a greater sense of scale about the location than conventional formats and my objective is to promote this format to professional photo researchers, graphic designers, advertising agencies, publishers.
I am convinced that this format has got great potential, since panoramic photos can be used for web design, editorial, advertising and corporate use as billboards, murals, posters, free standing inserts, cover pages, wrap covers, double pages, gatefolds, fold-outs and various electronic media uses.

How did it start?
When I came across a travel magazine – funnily in a Beijing bookstore - that published eight panoramic photos as fold-outs I decided that it was time to take actions and I started to learn more about the stock photography business. I discovered that there were sites that listed some panoramic images, there was an excellent site that specialized on panoramic images, but not on 360 degree, I found a site that displayed great panoramas, but only for two photographers.
Then I decided that WorldPanoramaStock.com must be launched that has room for panoramic photographers from all continents and accepts all available panoramic formats analog or digital, 120° or 360°.

Please tell us about the policy?
World Panorama Stock policy is different from the big players; we do not store original digital files and will not take away most of the earnings of the photographers. It's not WPS that sets the fees for the images, but the photographers themselves when they receive a request for any of the images displayed on the site.

With our promotional activities we would like to build solid human relationships with our prospective buyers since we believe that offers the only path to sustainable market success.
