AROUNDER LAUNCHES A BLOG AS IT EXPANDS THROUGH EUROPE

The team has just uploaded images from the Berlin Wall, the Holocaust Monument, Brandeburg Gate, Schloss Sanssouci and other sites around the city. Last week Arounder was in Madrid
Poor Giuseppe! Arounder’s lead photographer has it rough. After a long day shooting famous works of art at one of Madrid’s museums, be it the Prado or the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza, or perhaps a day spent at a bull-breeding ranch, he and the team head off to Mesón de la Guitarra for a midnight dinner, where they wind up singing popular Spanish songs with “la Tunas”, a university student music band. Other onerous nights are spent watching live flamenco shows. Meanwhile Vania, Arounder’s publicity director, finds that a popular book in Spain has been written about her (she met the author on what must have been a very memorable trip back in 1998)! Arounder sends a team of photographers to each 'Arounder city' and, in cooperation with the local, regional or national tourism offices, obtains access to photograph some of the world's most famous attractions, such as Leonardo da Vinci's 'Last Supper' in Milan, Cologne's imposing Dome Cathedral, Parma's stunning 12th century baptistery, and Rome's Vatican cathedrals, to name just a few examples. Arounder also brings you some of the more offbeat treasures of the world; from architectural delights such as Mario Botta's Santa Maria degli Angeli Church in Switzerland and archeological gems like the Sanctuary of Apollo in Cyprus to macabre marvels like Casanova's cell in Venice's infamous Piombi Prison.
