It is all accompanied by appropriate music, with special performances by folk groups during the weekends The theme of this Christmas market is ‘European traditions’ with stalls displaying typical craft products from France, Austria, Switzerland and Ireland, among other countries. This Christmas market is the biggest in Belgium with 220 wooden chalets located around the stock exchange, Place Sainte Catherine and the Marché aux Poissans. This year the French region of Provence will be the guest of honor at the ‘Plaisirs d’Hiver’.
